Dear colleagues and friends,
It is my great honor to invite you to the Annual Conference of the Israeli Society of Anesthesiologists, which will take place on December 4–5, 2025, at the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem.
We gather this year against the backdrop of an ongoing conflict. The situation remains painful and unresolved, and we are all still waiting — as individuals and as a society — for the safe return of the hostages🎗️. In these difficult times, our professional work carries an even deeper meaning.
Across Israel, anesthesiologists continue to demonstrate quiet strength and unwavering commitment. Whether in the operating room, the intensive care unit, the trauma bay, or the labor ward, our teams play an essential role in safeguarding patient care and stabilizing hospital systems. We are proud contributors to clinical innovation, patient safety, multidisciplinary education, and the advancement of modern medicine.
This year’s conference, held under the theme “Anesthesia – Pioneering Innovation”, reflects our shared mission: to keep moving forward, to lead through change, and to foster excellence even in the face of adversity.
We are honored to welcome renowned international speakers and colleagues, whose presence is a testament to the enduring strength of collaboration and solidarity within our specialty.
The conference will include:
•Scientific sessions on innovations in anesthesia, perioperative care, intensive care, and pain medicine
•Hands-on workshops and simulation-based learning experiences
•A focus on education, leadership, sustainability, and patient safety
•Opportunities to connect and collaborate across institutions, borders, and generations
This event is more than a professional gathering — it is a moment of reflection, resilience, and renewed purpose.
I look forward to welcoming you in Jerusalem, for a conference that will strengthen our community, advance our practice, and remind us of the impact we make every day.
Warm regards,
Dr. Stephane Ledot

Conference Venue
The Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem is a place where individuals from across the world gather, converse openly, and feel at home.
With its four open walls that fill the space with light, visitors immediately feel welcomed and at ease. The museum is in the shape of a dove, representing its pursuit of peace and hope for a better future. The building's focal point is the monumental crisscrossed staircase, emphasizing that true tolerance and understanding come from engagement, listening to one another, and immersing ourselves in others' perspectives.
The outdoor amphitheater, which seats 1,000, is flanked by a Second Temple aqueduct originally construted by King Herod at its base. Discovered as the foundations were laid two decades ago, it is now lit in the evenings and protected by glass. Up above is a low stage where a screen and speakers appear to magically rise at the flip of a switch.
